Mining Fundamentals Workshop

A full day of crypto mining education for people weighing a first home or shed build in regional Victoria.

Who it is for

Curious operators before the first purchase

This workshop suits adults who have read forum threads about hashboards and want grounded crypto mining education before spending on ASICs, GPUs, or second-hand PSUs. You should be comfortable with basic computer use; no prior mining experience is required.

Result you leave with

By the end of the day you hold a personalised decision sheet: preferred hardware path, estimated daily watt draw, noise expectations, ventilation notes for your space, and a go / wait recommendation based on current Victorian tariff examples.

What is included

  • Morning briefing on ASIC versus GPU trade-offs for small operators
  • Hands-on look at cabling discipline, intake and exhaust placement, and dust control
  • Live profitability sketch using sample hashrates and regional electricity rates
  • Printed workbook and a one-week email checklist after the session
  • Tea, coffee, and a light lunch at the Shepparton North rooms

What is excluded
