Give air a path through, not a swirl
Place intake low on the shaded side and exhaust high toward open space. Avoid exhausting directly at a neighbour’s outdoor seating. A straight path reduces the fan speed needed to move the same heat.
Separate dusty intake from filters
Rural sheds collect chaff and fine dust. A washable filter on intake, checked weekly in summer, keeps hashboards cleaner and fans quieter than running wide open.
Measure ambient for a week
Before powering new hardware, log afternoon temperatures inside the shed. If the empty room already exceeds comfortable limits, insulation and shade work belong on the list ahead of a second machine.
